MACVSO presents award to Senator Ropes

Senator Ropes presented MACVSO Award

The Minnesota Association of County Veterans Service Officers (MACVSO) presented the Outstanding Service Award to Senator Sharon Erickson Ropes on MACVSO Award presented to Senator Ropes Monday, September 21, 2009 at the State Veterans Building in St. Paul. The award reads: In Recognition and Sincere Appreciation of Outstanding Service, Assistance and Cooperation given the Minnesota County Veterans Service Officers in Their Quest for the best in Benefits and Services to Minnesota Veterans and Their Dependents.

Nominations for the award may come from anyone of the 87 Counties Veteran Service Officers (CVSO). A minimum of 5 nominations must be received prior to the award being considered. Senator Ropes received numerous nominations from CVSO’s all around the state for her work on the Veterans and Ag Senate Committee as well as her role as Chair of the CVSO Work Group.
