In these unprecedented times, our state and nation face uncertainty as we contend with the COVID-19 pandemic together.

Your County Veterans Service Officers remain committed to ensuring that our veterans, families and caregivers have access to the benefits they have earned, especially during this challenging time. Because all counties around Minnesota are in various stages of adopting community mitigation strategies to limit the spread of COVID-19 and “flatten the curve,” all veterans and family members should contact their CVSO before coming in for a previously scheduled in-person meeting. Many counties are temporarily suspending in-person meetings to limit possible exposure or transmission of COVID-19 – we are receiving closure notifications by the hour.

However, CVSOs remain ready to provide assistance over the phone and via email. Do not hesitate to contact your Veterans Service Officer to discuss your important items. You can find a link to our directory here or at the “Find a CVSO” on the tab of this website.

MACVSO’s priority is to serve and protect the health and safety of Minnesota Veterans, and we continue to hear examples of patience and resilience from veterans around Minnesota, no doubt garnered from your military service. We are in this together.
